Brazil Line Up: Pick up in Pace

  • Pace of nomination have picked up this week in CS;
  • Around 700kmt of raws were added to Q3 line up – registered nominations for July and August;
  • June exports, affected by rains at the end of the month, totalled 2.2mmt.

Port Situation

  • After the heavy winds seen earlier this week in Paranagua, we have reports that the ship loader at PASA was affected and operations should resume in 3-7 days.
  • At Santos, strong winds were also reported, but vessel manoeuvres have already been resumed.
  • Nonetheless, waiting time to berth remains high specially at Rumo.
