CS Brazil Exports 

  • The strong pace of nominations continues, with 780kmt this week.
  • The volume added takes October nominations up to 3.5mmt.
  • So far, 1.55mmt have sailed and given the average pace of operations we believe it is unlikely to see the full volume exported this month.
  • Depending on how weather behaves in the next days, as much as 0.5mmt could roll into November.

  • Despite the huge volume nominated, the wating time remains low.
  • Terminals at Santos are with 5 days of wating time – which is the normal average.
  • The slowdown of grains exports has opened more room for sugar, helping to keep a good pace for the sweetener exports.
