The post-Jly era is proving a bit of a conundrum as Oct NY has rebounded a Cent or so but has shown troubling wheelspin in the 23’s in recent days as it sits in the shadow of the ex-uptrend (23.82) and of course the Q2 double top (24.01).

Sugar: Still Pursuing Top Frontier at 24 Cents

NY took Thursdays’ inside day in its stride and trumped it with an outside day higher again to finish the week still pecking at the ex-uptrend (23.76). Nevertheless, the main challenge still lies just overhead in the niche between the 24.01 double top rim and the mid band drooping towards it (24.31).

Sugar: With July Gone, How Do You Like Me Now?

With the Jly out to pasture, NY continued a nearby relief bounce Monday and happened to nip at the now ex-uptrend broken last week (23.60). Can’t initially make a big fuss about this reaction however as the market is now approaching the shadow cast by the Q2 double top beyond 24.01.

Raws and Whites Drop Out of Q2 Top Formations

The Jun nosedive from the 26’s resolved a more than 3₵ high Q2 double top (spot) en route and NY quickly gouged on into the 21’s. While 21.00 is technically the projection of that top, it would only be logical to cater for a little overspill to then test the first main weekly support shelf at 20.50 before envisaging far better cushioning that could thus help to guard the ’20’s uptrend itself (19.90).
